I made ELISA test for HIV and it shows that i’m positive … !!
is there any chance that it was a false positive and I still don’t have that HIV ?

ELISA – иммуноферментный метод серологического исследования, который в некоторых случаях может давать ложноположительный результат анализа при развитии перекрестной иммунологической кросс-реакции с антигенами других вирусов (особенно в случае сопутствующего носительства вирусов герпеса разных типов и\или активной стадии герпетической инфекции). Для уточнения диагноза рекомендую Вам сдать кровь на антигены ВИЧ методом Иммуноблота и количественное определение РНК вируса.

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a test that in some cases can show false-positive test result, if the immunological cross-reaction with antigens of other viruses was developed. Especially in  case of concomitant carriage of different types of herpes viruses and/ or the active phase of herpes infection. We encourage you to perform  immunoblot  test for HIV antigens  detection and quantitative RNA test for the virus detection.
